Local authority leads the way

It’s not unusual to see Drowning Prevention Campaigns led by charities…RNLI, RLSS, ROSPA etc, or by families that have lost loved ones in water….but it’s not often we see local authorities step up and lead an awareness campaign…so it is only right to give Durham County Council credit

Last summer, 14-year-old Cameron Gosling lost his life to cold water shock in the River Wear and his family have joined forces with DCC to try and make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
